I didn't start with it figured out.

For years I thought confidence was something you earned. Better skin. The right clothes. Some version of myself I was trying to get back to.

Then I hit my 40s, and instead of caring less about how I looked, I cared more. I like fashion. I like beauty. I like looking expensive. Sometimes I save, sometimes I splurge. Now I just know what's worth it.

So I share all of it here. The fashion finds, the beauty treatments, the expensive mistakes, and the things actually worth your money. Life is too short for bad jeans, mediocre skin, and wasting money on stuff that doesn't work.

Ten years ago I would've talked myself out of wearing this. Too loud, too much, too “who does she think she is.” Now I know life is too short to ask strangers for permission to be yourself.

Confidence is a whole lot more fun than playing it safe.
